Hah, move here, we have the darkest tint in the US still I think.

Mine is 20%, never gotten a ticket for it.

 

just because you have 20% doesnt make it legal. The limit in N.M. is 35% on the front two doors, the rears may be as dark as you like.

 

The legal tint in NY is 65% on the driver/pass window, and they enforce the hell out of it. Rear and coupe windows can be as dark as you want.

But you can only tint like 6" down from the top of the windsheild, i thought in PR you could tint the whole windsheild just at a legal %

I think the tint % has to do with the amount of sun each place gets which would make sense

No, I didn't say it did bro. I couldn't remember the legalities, but did post a link a few years back with all of the %'s for all of the states, along with the AS1 codes and such. Mine is NOT legal, I know that for sure. LOL

 

I've got 20% and have driven from the great lakes to Houston Tx and over to NC. Not one ticket for tint.

Why are the turn signals 100% amber? I think some clear corners would make it 10x better.

 

I posted something about that earlier, but it didn't show up....

I failed to notice that the corner was completely amber, but I thought it sort of stuck out like a sore thumb.

I would go with some clears, however, looks good anways.

one of the best looking tiby's in the forum...i realy like them clean....congrat...it's just beautifull.....

 

I actually like the amber corners, and those rims are niiiice...and does your hood stand up a little further in the back kinda like some hondas do? or is it just off a little bit?

and my friend had a black 3000gt and got 5% on every window except for front, somehow never got a ticket, only one warning. lucky i guess?
