I never had a problem with mine but I know some other cars do. That's why I said he should keep the shift light and get rid of the tach.
And about the ricer than shit comment. Would you call a guy with 2001 SS that makes over 600whp off the juice a ricer? You can find his videos all over the net, his car is a f**king beast and even with a huge tach I wouldn't dare to say anything to him. Doesn't Mad John have a huge tach in his car?

Point is, if you have a tach stock, and your engine still redlines at redline on your stock tach, and then you go and get an aftermarket tach, it's rice.
I can understand if you have cams and a different crank or something and your engine redlines different than what your stock tach says, or if you don't have a stock tach, but otherwise...wtf? waste of money. lol.

Well this guy in SS revs all the way to 7k rpm and that I think it's as far as stock tach goes(redline at 6k though), but it doesn't have little lines anymore. Also, tachs in f-bodies seem to be a little to slow in 1st gear, so at least shift light is a must smile.gif
I believe MadJohn revs all the way to 7500rpms as well.

yea .. i kno guys, i am a bitt rice lol but idc its kinda the style around here i geuss. but there are tomes i do think about smashing that stupid tach. i think i just need to move it in a different spot soo it isnt so obvious.
