well its been a hell of a winter with the tib a few weeks back at the end of march i had a wheel bearing go out, a caliper bust open, and my starter go out all in the same day. to top that off my amp blew and some one else broke my 300 dollar 3.5's. so ending off last month was not good for me

well all this stuff broke the week before HIN in chicago and i had been planning to go for months, i said to myself that i'm not letting any of that shit stop me or the tib from rollin out in full effect. so i get furious on the wrenchs and fixed all the mechanical stuff. then i fixed my stereo problems by replacing the one 3.5 and gettin on ebay and gettin a bigger and yes better amp for myself. and i new cross over to boot because i just got a good deal on it at my local shop

but before i left out i had to get my new rims that i got off scoupels a few months back so i hurried up and threw on the new rims and headed out. well wouldnt you know the night of HIN its pouring rain in chicago so no cruising for me.

anyways i get back in town and the next weekend wouldnt you know it.. someone else breaks the fliping 3.5's AGIN so im waiting on them to pay me before i can fix those agin. and apparently that same weekend i broke my box from the new amp pounding my sub way to hard so i had to get a new 1"thick box that is just waayyy more massive then my old box.

but enough with my battles in stereo land here is the new pics.

here is some of the new stereo stuff
this amp can send a little over 3000max mono watts to my single 15" sub

this is the old box that i broke by putting the whole 1600rms@1ohm load on the sub cool.gif

and here are some new 6x9 i picked up in chitown called "POPS" and they are hand made custom speakers by a old guy who used to work for JBL and JL audio they are made just like subs, will handle 500watts max EACH, and only cost 100 for the pair. they move air just like most peoples 12's very serious stuff, if your ever in chitown i would pick some up

any comments i would love to hear i'm hoping to add turby sides to this by end of summer and also try to get it lowered on eibach pro-kit. oh yea the rims are 15's by the way on 195/50/15 rubber. heres one more for the road thanks for checkin me out

CAJ- we turned them on at the store and you could hear/feel them for like 3 ailse away. they were really loud on the amp they had there.(only 400watts) but i personaly think that when you get them up (at least on just the deck) the SQ is slightly lacking. for me thought its just fine because all my SQ is on the front stage and i really want more bass coming from the back so they work PERFECT for my application.

maybe you would look elsewhere for a extreme conditions 6by that would have SQ and SPL at high levels. but for me i just needed the SPL from these speakers in my system.dont let me make you think they dont have good SQ for what they are, its just i'm not concerned with how it sounds because i only care about the bass for those. and i dont have them set up to sound great, they are set up to rumble something mean. they have a tripple suround and double layer of foam, these lil 6bys will MOVE. they will travel just like 12's have travel its just nuts how these things work.i love em

MONO- great seein ya there man, yours and depatros cars were just sick in person. hope to see you guys around through the summer.

I'd add a short antenna and that will clean it up. Looks really nice though.
