See that building in the back of the 1st picture. That is where I work a machine shop. I live about 50 yards away. Building items like my rods or other parts for industrial applications is what I do for a living. Building rods is not difficult just labor intensive as the material is special very tough and hard to machine 4340 heat treated to 36-38 rockwell not hard but very tough. I can build my own rods far cheeper than crower or pauter could build me a set. Also I over built them i wouldnt be supprised to see them do over 1k hp I would think the pistons would go first.
