<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>booo stock lightbulbs.

even red would look so much more b****in with red leds spread out behind them.</div>

right you are sir. i have some white face F2 gauges and am planning to put some blue LED's behind it to light it up, paint the back of it black so the light doesn't shine through. you should do that as well. i think you can even clear out the whole part so red LED's shine through. the only problem with LED's is it's a b*tch to wire them into such a smll crowded space and you have to know what you're doing because you can certainly mess up your gauges if you don't to them right.

my sister has similar sharkracing gauges but there's not enough red light to make it look professional.

^^ black works. I used some model paint on the yellow numbers to make sure they would not light at all because they were dimly lit and somewhat splotchy. It didn't look good. I used black model paint and a brush.

Those are the exact same ones I have installed, they rock!

Guys, you have to actually take out the OEM faces if you want your Bros gauges to fully iluminate, I think that's the reason why only have of the speed marks are visible... they are blocked by the OEM faces.

Yup.

And then you need to use some Taillight Repair tape to cover up the really bright stuff. so you have colors for your idiot lights.

I actually didn't have to do any modifications to get my bros to work right in my RD1. You do have to remove the stock faces though... lol
