I would still love to drop one of those in a first gen excel and go rallying again.

Gotta love it Dweet... that looks first class all the way. And no, don;t clean it.. wait until you get everything together and then give it a good scrubbing. Some people have NO idea how dirty an engine compartment can get.

way too hard.. the tranny faces the other way. however if you want a 4g63t in your 00 Tib you should go for the Evo VIII powertrain. It would be alot easier than going with the DSM one

Can't wait to see it up and running. Give those sr20det or ka-t guys a run for their money. hehe

Are you going to get a sealed battery?
Are you going to do a ground wire kit to it as well? wink.gif hehe

With everyone running HUGE front mount intercoolers... I find it odd you are sticking with the side mount.. This done for stealth reasons, or are they really more efficent than most people realise?

See, I am waffling between Turbo and s/c. If I go Turbo, I am going to use an air to water intercooler for the higher efficency and shorter path to the intake

Default Re: ALL OLD MODERATORS, CHECK IN!

yeah im doing it for stealth reasons, I do have a FMIC but it ws cheaper, easier and just efficient to run the stock IC piping from a 1D DSM with a stock 1G BOV that recirculates. THe 1G stock SMIC is good in size and got it for about $30 from a buddy who put a FMIC on his 91 Talon. Eventually when I want to play around I'll get a FMIC and anodize it black and put a 20g on it
