LC2 + autocross = fun pics
It was my first autocross, but it won't be my last!
I was car number 187.
I went in to some of the corners a bit too hot.
Up on 2 wheels.
Almost lost it coming into this obstacle but I made it.
Even by the first corner I almost had the tail in the air.
Not a lot of contact on the inside tires. I was rolling over on the sidewall on the front driver's side tire even at 46psi.
Tripodding LC2.

Thats great. But for some reason I dont think \i would do well with cones. If it was a real track it would be better for me. Looks like you had a great time.

Yeah it took quite a bit of time studying the course before I was ready to run it without getting lost. Honestly it's easier than it seems, but it's not optimal. A short road course would be better for me too. Some sites outline the course in chalk I guess but most do not.
A lot of novices got lost at least once and missed gates because of it.

Where I was at there was no legitimate way someone would lose control and end up in the spectator's area. There was enough distance that a skidding car (going 70mph max) would just harmlessly come to a stop. Courses are supposed to be designed that way. I'm sure sometimes they're not, but I couldn't have felt safer in the spectator area. Now doing my course work assignment was a different story. I was worried somebody would hit me where I was and several people did spin out in my direction but they were only going 45mph at the time probably so it still wasn't an issue really.
