The Strut fully extended (hood open) is just under 13.5"
The strut compressed (hood closed), with the swivel head, is about 8.5"
I can take exact measurements tomorrow afternoonish, it's like 0 degrees outside and 3AM, lol.
The big thing is there are no ratings on weight or pressure...
However, skokietech seem like good people when I purchased mine. I had a lot of questions and the answered them all no problem. I'm sure we can ask about what they are pressureized with and how much.

Everything as BlizagaXx said. Sorry Redz but I did not have my car at home last few days and couldn't take the measure and when I got it yesterday I was a bit overwhelmed with work. But I took a look today and the measures Blizaga gave are correct (only I have them in centimeters).
Sookitech are great guys fast and reliable.

I contacted the ebay seller and asked for a discounted price on 25 units. They'll give 10% off and shipping will be $20 + $6 for each additional. They said to send them $1,288... that puts it at $51.50 before they get shipped to individuals within the U.S.
We need to find somewhere to do it cheaper.
Lowe's?

yeah, but finding 25 people willing to buy them for $60 just to save $10? it's more of a hassle than I'm willing to deal with. I'd rather pay the extra $10 and not have to worry about 24 other people

Well, I work at AutoZone, there's bound to be someone else on this site who works at another parts sotre/customs shop that can measure things. We might be able to find something that'll work for like $20 instead, you know?

they opened a brand new Checker Auto right near my house, I'm heading over there in a bit, or this weekend, to measure up the struts they have up there.
