I just realized I had not posted pics up of the new radiator. I think I have had it in for a year now with no issues. I need to work on moving the lower passenger side mount over so that both bottom mounts are in.

very cool. this has allways been one of the mods i've wanted to do to my bay. i think when ever my radiator takes a crap on me i'll buy a mishimoto or something.

Always wanted to see how this looked man, not bad at all.
Ever have any overheating issues since then?
How did you mount it exactly? I can't tell from those.
Also, were there any modifications to the new radiator to get it to mount? I've been considering going this route with my kit I'm building up, so I don't run into any room problems and I can direct a front vent right on the turbo housing.
More details mang!!! Got any part numbers or anything? FEED ME!

Looks awesome. If I needed the room I would get this for sure. I'm wondering about overheating as well. I know you were having some issues and youre adding some vents now but maybe that was without this? Looks amazing man.

that does look nice, definitely opened up alot of space there,
i would be worried about overheating also, that is if i didnt live in South Dakota lmao.gif no need for any worry here

Actually I had overheating issues with the stock radiator. This one I haven't had any issues. I am installing the vent just to be proactive. I got the radiator from Bryan when I bought the car. It is from a CRX, I think 95 or so. Tim is running with one in his Elantra. I sent mine to him to have the lower radiator hose moved from one side to the opposite side of the radiator. He was also supposed to do something with the mounts but never did as far as I can tell. Right now I only have one lower mount in use and I put a rubber strip on the top radiator support to keep it from banging. It is pretty tight in there, I think it would only come loose if I had a rollover.

yea the hoses are what i was wondering about. so the top you just used your stock hose and the bottom you had to have fabed to the other side of the radiator??

I haven't had any issues with mine and I didn't modify my hoses at all. I have a radiator from a 95-99 honda civic. I did the same. I just put in the one lower mount and then used something to keep the top tight. I have yet to have problems. I think this is the only shot I have of it:
