would like to see more pic's of your car Mr Muffin.
and as to the springs and struts I dont know who made them, but they are coming out. the car might handle like its on rails, But does it have to feel like it is?
so far the best suspension kit I have found for the RD1/RD2 is by D2 racing link
If anyone thinks there is a better one post the link and I will check it out!

if the car handles well, and looks good, why do you want to change the springs/struts?
you realize, that thats what happens when you upgrade the suspension on a car. the ride gets rougher, but it handles WAY better..
try to find out what kind of struts you have

you may be right.
I was thinking I wanted to put a vailside kit on the tib but after reading the issues of touch and scrape I am not so sure I ever will I want to drive it not park it.
I think I still want to go with the D2 Racing kit because of the camber plates, dampening and trim versatility. so far know one has suggested anything that looks better, I have driven lots of lowered cars and trucks and yes the better it holds the road the harsher the ride, but this it by far the stiffest ride I have ever driven, fun as hell on twisting road but the city and hwy driving it will KILL ya.
I got the car to drive every day not just on race day. The car is way to sick to keep in the garage until the weekend. BORN TO DRIVE.
NOTE TO ALL:
THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR COMMENTS
The reason I am here is to hear your suggestions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess, I just feel like it's a waste of money to replace it. But if that's what you want, go for something adjustable. Either adjustable coilovers, or if you buy a separate spring and strut combo, the KYB AGX's have adjustable dampening. They're pricey, but worth it. I just got a set. You can adjust them to stock if you're going to be taking a long trip, or I believe, 223% stiffer than stock? Which is pretty stiff. Your springs also make a difference.
