yeah, it's a $20 kit you can throw on with a straight pipe. You can always add more gas via a 2nd fuel pump and a open injector.

I was trying to come up with a method of doing this but each method ended up over $20 with parts from a junkyard. If i could come up with my own design I'd probly install it, but to actually spend money on a kit, it wouldn't be worth it.
Well if anyone's interested, here's a kit for under $20 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dual-exhaus...058802097QQrdZ1
And here you go, some flame decals to match. http://cgi.ebay.com/Flame-Kit-Golf-C...QQcmdZViewItem
You will be a REAL flamer after this, gauranteed.
There is a truck around my area who drives down the highway with flames shooting from the bottom, he's obviously got a injector setup because it is a constant flame. I think it's pretty gay, and should only be used for showing off or demonstration. To shoot gas just for the purpose of burning is a waste of money. An extra spark plug/coil running is just a waste of electricity which I am using enough in my car already.

I admit i would probably like it, maybe not that much but i would want something like that when you change gears. Would look pretty good, but yeah FnF style on a hyundai = (equals) no go. Dont want to wreck the car by getting it keyed by hyundai haters. And also it would just be another reason for cops to hurrass you about.
And "=D or =DD" is a type of smiley that i sometimes use, soz for the trouble, should be easier to read now..

flames on overrun usually mean running too rich or the car is carbed. My Fiat's do that if I downshift from high rpms.. my old porsche powered beetle would spit flame when at WOT..

the dsm guys with straight pipes around here just make the af ratio a little rich at the shift point and shoot some pretty decent flames. I kinda like it but I wouldnt go through the trouble of a kit or anything
