I brought up a really old thread but got no hit's...probably because it ended up being in the off topic area and had a vauge thread title...anyways

This is my engine bay now.

I plan on getting:

A brushed aluminum strut bar for seoulfulracing.

http://www.kdmstuff.com/shop/step1.php?number=2173

The Beta 2 cover with either gun metal or silver oil cap.

http://www.kdmstuff.com/shop/step1.php?number=788

A brushed aluminum fuze box cover if Midnight Wolf is still selling.

http://www.rdtiburon.com/index.php?s...mp;hl=fuze+box

And now the question I need answered. With all those things added i'm heading towards a silver/aluminum/black scheme under the hood and i'm not sure if I should get a chrome AEM CAI or the one they SAY is silver. I would rather have a more silver than chrome because in my opinion the chrome looks like shit after about a month or two...BUT i've seen pics of lansharks tib and he has a "silver" AEM and it looks grey and I dont want that. Anyone have pics or advice on what the actual colour is like in person and if you think it would flow with the scheme i'm kinda goin for.

Get the silver AEM intake, not chrome. Midnightwolf NEVER sold metal, so everyone knows this officially, he sells plastic. The SFR bar is nice, but it's pricey... I got my bar on ebay for 40 and it honestly looks a lot more sturdy and I think it looks nicer too. There is a few of us who have the bar, and we all love it.

Do the koyo rad's fit in without any modification cause I wasn't sure if they needed to have anything done to them or if they just fit right in.

I had a custom CAI that went down through where the battery was and into the inner fender. Instead of silver or chrome, I found that painting it the same colour as the car gave it a nice subtle flavor.

Thank's for all the suggestions guys, and thanks for those pic's too Socks. Is the install on the Koyo kinda involved? Oh and does anyone have a pic of the silver AEM installed. I don't think I'll be painting it so I would just rather buy it and be done so it's still between silver or chrome and i'm pretty sure I'll eventually be getting that koyo rad also. It just looks too good...How much does that run ya anyways?

^^Lol

I searched and found a DIY you did Socks and i'm still reading it...only thing I'm worried about is the fans. And this will cost me about $400 in total with shipping to Canada...Pretty expensive for a mod that doesn't have that big of benefits...does it? On a car thats only gonna have a CAI, no turbo or anything? OH and this might be a big thing. I have an Automatic.
