Well I could have posted this in a few forums but i figured this was the best instead of makin 2-3 different posts...I got my eibach pro system in the other day (spring and dampners) and saturday I took the car to my cousins to install them. Well...this was a fun time let me tell you. we get to like step 5(steps 1-4 were just loostening some bolts lol) and then the 2 big 17mm bolts behind the rotor on the knuckle i think it is, yea well we snapped off the nut part of it. owned.gif
i guess these things were pretty well rusted and we could not get them off but then tried a torque wrench and snapped the damn things. mad.gif So...i call everyone i know for ideas (even mad_john in korea) lol mad told me to try and tap the bolt, well we tried, but the damn thing broke the tap. YES WE KNOW HOW TO USE TOOLS so no smart a** comments lol...anyways...i figured what the hell we screwed up this side lets see if we can do the other 3 so i only have to pay for one to be installed...well we tried drivers side...couldnt get it off. and i didnt want to break any more bolts sooo we stopped. i had it towed last night and now my mechanic is going to install them and the timing belt kit i got from kspec. i hate my life. i just bought timing belt kit (200)...eibach pro system (610)...new rims come in wed(700)...still need tires(like 250-300)...and now installation(200-300).

Hahahahahahaha...

LOL

You know what I do when I can't get a nut or bolt off? Use a bit of wd40 or such, let it sit for about 20 minutes, then TIGHTEN it a tiny bit, before loosening it.

It may work better, I'm not saying I disagree. I'm just saying what I've used. I've not broken any bolts, or had any hard time of it.
