You could always buy one of these tacky blinking EL alarm indicators. They're not for everyone, just those who want to be protected.

Wouldn't that key thing of yours be true of any 2 cars put together, one being nicer then the other? If a guy wants to key a car he'll probly go for the better looking one.

i have two scanners i bought that i am going to aim in the front footwells from the crashpad. they will light up the lower front interior of the car extremely well, but you wont be able to see them unless you look in the car first.
i would never use those ugly el lights.
as for my little setup, stick nightshark's or 01importshark's tibs next to your's and i still bet you're tib with the led corners will be messed with instead of their's.

^^ I live in a dorm. I live in an army dorm (called a barracks) where a bunch of 18-23 year old kids get drunk every night because they have money and nothing better to do with their time.
I really want to know if you think that a person with an agenda to key a car is going to key the tiburon with a body kit, or the one that has a flashing alarm indicator.

looks cool man. more for shows, but yeah i'd think they wouldn't want everyone looking at those blue lights attracting attention.
though, flashes would be better! you know like the firedrill kind? they'd run so damn fast...

thats different though. those kids are more "civilized" than you're everyday street punk. there is a much better chance of catching whoever did it on an army base aswell.
nobody has an agenda to key a car. thats the point im trying to make. its a spur of the moment decision. ive never messed with a car, but ive done other stupid shit in my early highschool days(punch a random mailbox or something). i didnt make plans to do it. it just happened. you are increasing the bubble around your car for a drunk asshole's attention to be grabbed by a blinking blue light in the middle of the night. and they will see that much sooner than a bodykitted tib.
i have woke up at random friend's college apartments all over maryland a couple times seeing bashed in side-view mirrors. ive only seen one keyed car. that car had an alarm with a led thing on the rear-view mirror. it was a ford focus. my car was parked 7 spaces up the street (parallel-parking wise) and wasnt touched. its before i had my alarm in, and im thankful because if they were walking on the side walk and my car did have the alarm they probably would have seen my alarm led b/c they are higher up and done shit to my car. my led is there just to protect my car from getting a window bashed in in an attempt to steal my car. i dont want anybody to see it unless they are looking in my interior through the slight tint with cupped hands, ready to bash a window with a crowbar.

^^ dude, i'm telling you, keyed cars are usually ex-girlfriends.
I have a switch on the corner light you can turn on and off inside the hood. When I turn them both on it looks like a cop car. This way i can turn Left, right, both, or none on. They also turn off when the car turns on and turn on when the car turns off. I've taken my car out to the downtown area of the capitol of South Carolina a few times since the install with the device running, nothing has happened.
