Hey!
As some of you might remember, a stupid girl crashed into my front left-side a little while back.
Well, it's already taking longer than I'd hoped (was told 3 days & it's already been 4) but I like how it's shaping up & I can't wait till it's all finished.
I'll see how it looks without skirts but I'm considering the Talon "scalloped" skirts that are made here in Oz.

Yeah Tim! It's looking GOOD!
02.gif A stupid girl crahsed on my car today too! But at least it's only damage on the right fender and bumper, it was not hard at all, and her insurance is payng for everything mine is not paying (like the minimum franchise, etc). Of course it would have been A LOT better that she didn't crash me, but in the situation it's the best that could have happened.

Cheers guys fing02.gif
The hood is new, as is the guard/fender. They're not painted yet. It'll all be painted the stock colour.
I've always loved the "bad boy" look so I took this opportunity to get it done with the rest of the work. I was going to have the hood repaired & re-sprayed anyway as it had loads of dents & scrathes in it but it worked out about $100 more to just get a brand new hood so I just get a new one.
I'll use the old one to work on a vented-hood project somewhere down the road.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (tanc @ Oct 26 2006, 01:55 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Did you buy the hood like that? Or did you make those eye lids in the hood type thing. What is the proper name for that?</div>
It's the "bad boy" look. Very popular in Europe. The Brits & the Bosch love it... Looks mean, I reckon.
They weld on extra pieces of metal, fill, smooth & paint.
