Default Custom Vertical Door Kit *PICS*

Here are some pictures of my Custom Decah Virtical Door Kit I had installed. I tried to get pictures of the hinges since everyone seems to be asking for them. The doors are rock solid up and down and have no gaps larger than the factor doors did and they sit at the same height when up. The hinges themself are extremely heavy solid parts as you can see in the pics. I must say i was surprised how heavy are doors are when they are off the car. The kit is very easy to lift and lower.....however it will take some time getting used to not just pulling the doors open. I can get more pics if people like or larger pics.

Very nice. Keep us uptodate on how the vdoors work for you.

What did you pay in total for the install and the kit?

The kit is from Decah www.decah.net you will have to find a dealer to get the kit from. I paid $1000.00 for the kit plus install. Yes the kit is more than the kit from SR but in my opinion it is much higher quality. I am not sure which car the kit came from, I allowed the place that did the install to get the measurments and than order the kit that needed the least modifications. There are modifications that are needed to be made to both fenders and mounting plates need to be welded to the frame for the hinges to bolt to.....this is not a easily reversiable kit....also paint is needed were the factory hinges were.I cant really give you a price for the install as i had other work done at the same time and the labor was billed together.

The kit looks exactly like the SR kit I have... same material metal, same bolt on points, and the door height adjuster is the same as well. Makes me wonder if this is where SR got their kits from since it seems they take products from other dealers and just sell them in their own name.
