Still didn't answer how much any of it cost.
Or about 1/2 of the other questions/comments.

Re: canadianshark's new ride
hey REDz... blow me.. i was in a hurry.. had some stuff to do and just made a quick response..
I actually went down to his house and met up with him to get it all done.. and i must say some of this guys stuff just amazes me.. u should see all his cars.. 100% custom..
other people would just ship it out to him....
It cost me 500.00 total.. and hes gonna throw some other stuff in..
i got a deal tho.. itll be more for everyone else.. its reg. 175 for upper part of dash. 125 for the lower part (radio surround, shifter surround) 100 for full door panel. and 200.00 for the spoiler.
and i answered about 90% of the questions..
neway, im not gonna get the bottom part done.. too much $$, i might just paint it black to match better than the gray it is now. along with the side of the top part that wasnt overlaid.i just fvckin hate taking that top part in and out.. such a b****.. if nething tho i will paint the lower part black or graphite like my wheels. i may do drivers and pass. A-pillars when i boost. or i might go custom with the guages.. like in the vents or something.. he said he would make me something so i could still get heat/air from vents with guages in so i duno.

Re: ugh im back
oops.gif the Type-R spoiler looks completely different.. i think *this* is the only right spoiler for the RD.. Really nice 8)
the Dash.. mm.. i had seen only another attemp to make a real carbon fiber dash (not a wrapping job, a real clone of the original dash) but the cost was too excessive. this one look "different" .. i love when mods are made without destroying the original look of the car or when they are made exactly on the oem look like your job.
do you mind if i give you an advice?
oops.gif
change knob with something like
or
or
(BTW.. the first should match perfect! ..always imho  )

Re: Revving at a complete stop?
It looks pretty good... I really like the wing.....
the inside.....ehhhh, I'll wait and see what blacktibs meant when he said "Full carbon fiber dash" Im going to assume for a second gen, since he did an interior swap.....
sorry to say this, but those prices are kinda high for just being wrapped.
since you could get enough raw CF to do the job yourself for about 100 bucks off ebay. and then maybe another hundred for resin and clear coats....
200 and a bit of your time vs. 500 (or more for us) done by someone else. Maybe I'm just cheap.....
Great Idea though.

Re: Took the elantra out to the track today
ill look into a shift knob like that.. good suggestion..
yah itll prob cost about 250 or so for all the stuff you need.
and to get it all ladi right with no bubbles and stuff, alotta experience and tonnns of patience.. its def. worth the 500.00 for all of it.. being wrapped isnt much of difference than molded since you will only save like 2 pounds, and the full molded will be major cash, and it wont have exact stock clips.. but w/e floats ur boat.. i just thought id be original.

Re: Kspec GT/Racing Header Group Buy *GT 8/10 R 10/10*
That is true.. you will never get the same fit and finish as stock as you would with a molded.. especially around the radio and shifter.. as those pieces snap in instead of using screws... not to mention the hassles of molding in the supports for the switches.
