dude... your car looks sexy without cosmetic panels. What you should have done was rip out the interior and sipped them to me. wink1.gif
why not a darker blue?

Well, looks like you did a high quality paint job at least..
I dunno though, I never really liked the entire painted dash look..I think you should have painted it a gloss black and maybe went with some blue accents somewhere like the cup holder cover or the vents maybe?
I'm not too keen on the color either, I think a darker pearl blue woulda looked a lot nicer
And why paint the passenger side door card? it just doesn't flow...i've never understod why people do that though.
Otherwise, at least you painted well. Took everything apart, used thin coats, got a nice glossy smooth finish. Just not mah style.

I was iffy on doing the light surround, didn't think I would have enough paint/clear but I had just enough. Glad I did it also. I went with the brighter blue to match with other blues I have coming for the car. It was also the Vinyl Fabric Blue that was recommended when I asked which paints to use. I also thought it looked good with out the panels, was gonna roll around for a while like that, maybe enter a car show.

yea man, no cosmetic panels, hell even no safety panels. just some metal, left over pieces of interior lining, and a rool cage is all you need to be sexy in my opinion...
i was biased in my last statement though, i just want an RD2 interior without selling my soul to chris...

I'll seccond that one. Tired of people calling it a "chick's car"? Nothing says manly better then bare metal and no safety panels.

I'm not feeling auto either, I mentioned when I first joined about that. It is mine and my Fiance's car and I just couldn't con her into a 5-speed. I miss driving manual since the day I sold my other car. Maybe later on down the road when I get this totally paid off I can buy myself another one.
