lol.. why replace the stock intake for a great one and leave the rest of it stock?

that would be like a guy with emphysema breathing out of a small straw, and then you letting him breathe without a straw.. yeah, he would be able to breathe better, but it would still suck.

now take away the emphysema and then see how he would breathe..

they are still called HEADERS..

if you have a v6 or v8, you have a SET OF HEADERS.

lol.. im just saying thats what they are called. and why they are called that, thats all.

if there was a one cylinder car, it would have a HEADER.

there is one 'header' for each individual cylinder.

so on a tib, 4 individual headers go to a collector, then to the downpipe/flexpipe.

butttt....... some people decide to call it a header, some people call it headers.. IMO, either way is right to how you interpret it.

To add to the discussion, I too have always wondered why we call them headers when there is just one. It's ONE unit, how is it plural? I understand calling them RUNNERS, as there are several of those, but it's a single unit, so HEADER fits.

Now, even worse than that, is why do we say "I need to get a set of headers".

How is it a set?

...

LOL
