Vulcanwolf 10-21-2004 09:44 PM

Re: raffles

the blue and amber color sorta changes the way you look at it. Sometimes more purple and sometimes little blue. I was thinking about blue and white but I thought amber all across the front would look cool.

Re: help me fix the computer.

Re: 04 CVVT Turboed - Speed Factor kit

hmmmm, ideas, ideas.

Im swapping out my orange leds to amber......I really like how the blue and amber almost looks white......I may have to use blue instead of white.....But I'll try one of them out before I make that decision. and I have an extra set of headlights so It's not like i won't be able to drive while waiting, if i do decide to go blue instead.

Chris, if you see this, just send the white leds for now, as I haven't made up my mind yet.

Re: help me fix the computer.

Well i am going to try and finish the exterior haloz today and i will take pics.
I just have to take my headlight apart and put them in then put bumper back on. Took me 3 hours to get my bumper off, with some anger breaks in there. Anyone know where i can get duplicolor metalcast blue paint and white at?

Re: New windshield wipers. Last 5 years!

Yeah, that amber is pretty bright! I was looking for yellow, but that just might work.....

I'd like to see pics of the ambers on after the install.

Thanks Vulcan!

Hey Alpha, I'm not sure but you could prolly just get your own yellow LEDS. Tibby01 was selling them a while back, you should be able to swap them out.

Re: Cottage Fever 2005 May 23rd - May 25th

Yeah, I know. Can't you just purchase some haloz in any colour you want and then swap them out with the yellow ones? What if they burnt out for some reason, you should be able to change them. :?

The_Alpha_Male 10-22-2004 12:08 PM

We confused you real good eh? LOL

I was just saying if they burnt out for any reason(water, dropped, ???) we should be able to change them somehow.

There is a hole in the firewall somewhere in the center, I think. Do a search on webtech I think it tells you where it is......

Re: Pics that may help you decide

I am in class right now, so i will work on them when i get home. The hole is behind the throttle body (I have never seen it). Bad thing is, that when i get this done my car is still overheating or atleast the temp gauge is going to H. Where is the themostat located? All my coolant fluids are full. Could it be a water pump and if so, how hard is it to replace? Thanks

Re: My wife is slowly killing me!

Dunno where it is but I know it's an easy fix. Someone on here had the same problem with his chick's car. Some prelude guy or somethin'. I'll look for the link and post it here.

ok, i am trying to get the headlights apart....I preheated the oven to 350* and put one headlight in for 3:20. Took it out and tried to pull it apart. No luck, they didn't even move. i noticed that some of the plastic started to melt on the bottom. What should i do?

Edit - and the screwdriver was puttng marks in the plastic when i was trying to pry apart the lense.

Re: do it yourself type of installs?

yea im planning on either painting my tib Orange or Blue cant really decide yet .... Check this link out and tell me if you guys think the orange or Amber Angel eyes would look better http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/514552

im guessing that i should get the amber ones and maybe go with a dual amber/white color. what does everyone else think?

This is what my car will look like if i go blue http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/347300/3

I would get dual blue/white haloz if i get that color car.

Let me know what color you guys like best because i'll be buying my haloz on monday and have to choose by then. thanks

Try hitting it with a hairdryer or a heat gun. Oh, and about that overheating problem. Change your thermostat man.

I have ONE of my highbeam haloz apart. for reasons mentioned in the orange/amber thread.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (mega_ender)</div><div class='quotemain'>where can i find halos at?</div>

Man, they're ALL over this site. Do a search, or at LEAST look around the forums a little bit before posting questions. It saves us all from having to go through this so much.

I'm not trying to ride you, but you have to understand how often us regulars see this question, or others like it..... when a TINY bit of lookin' around will answer most of them.

Other than that, welcome to RDTiburon lol.gif . You can get haloz from blacktibs. Do a search. wink.gif

Re: Noisy shocks...

ok, here is an update. Last night i finish putting my bumper back on. My bumper is crap and i am missing the screws for my corners and 2 on the bottom. I tested the halos out and need to find a better power tap then the cigertte lighter. The exterior halos work, but when I tested out my interior halos again, the passager door halo is messed up. I have only turned on the halos 4 times and the one lights up a pale greenish blue. It looks like only one LED is lighing and its not getting bright enough. So I moved the power tap around and the transformer (the black box) was clicking on and off. I could get it to light up normally 10% of the tries. I think it is something with that black box. Any Ideas?

I also turned on the car thinking maybe i had a low charge or something and it lit a little brighter but is still wasn't blue (it was the green color).

Cliff notes:
Got bumper on, and was testing halos out.
Exteriors work, one interior halo messes up.
I don't think it is getting enough power from the transformer thing.
One LED is lighting up but it isnt even blue.

I will try to have pictures of them on when i get home and eat. smile.gif

Re: *EBAY ALERT!!* Beta Series PHENOLIC SPACER (Intake Man.

Only double posting to get this back on front page. Not sure if Edit does.
Sorry for not getting the pics. But I did get them now, and I will post them today when I get home. The reason was, my car was overheating and I got a new thermostat and my friend bent it when he put it in. So my car went to the shop, cause I didn't know (I was working on the halos). I couldn't figure out what the best way to take the pictures was, so I tried to make my garage as dark as I could. I have a question, the person at the shop said that my thermostat was the good news and that since I drove my car once (not more then 5 miles) and it got hot that the bad news is, I could have warped the head? I don't know a lot about the engine, but that is the part on top right? Is this possible with such a little drive? and how much $ if things get worst?

I will be home in a couple hours, pics of the halos in then. Thanks
