Default 2003 Accent - Ksport coilovers

Figured I would post some new pics with the Ksports on even though the car is dirty since I had a chance to park next to a stock Accent for comparison.

I felt that this was the best way to explain what was running through Sir Floyd's brain while installing diz!

me like. Whats the drop? looks like 2"?

What me don't like is how the accents don't have a cut out for the exhaust in the bumper.

Autox in winter? sounds like a blast

It's dropped about 2.5". Actually, it seems to have settled some, maybe 2.75" now since I measured it in my garage right after the install. And that's compared to the GT suspension which is about a half inch lower than a normal Accent. Pictures just don't really seem to reflect how low it is for some reason. Part of it is that an Accent doesn't look as low as it really is because of the high rear bumper and how the body slopes down to the pinch welds along the sides.

With no cutout the exhaust does sit pretty low. I have thought about making a cutout, but I'm use to how it looks now so it doesn't bother me.

Autox was a lot of fun in the slush, but I'm glad it's not that way all the time. I posted a video of one of my runs in this thread if you would like to watch it. It's GoPro footage from inside.

Figured this was as good a spot as any to post some photos from previous photo contests that I didn't choose to use.
