LOL Caj the only way they could have prevented reversing the MAFS is to make one hose connection male and the other female. If you COULDN'T plug it in the hoses backwards.

Pulling the radiator is no big deal, really. That's coming from someone who's done it.

Im just that retarded.
Yeah, we're not really concerned about pulling the rad... already half way there.... were just hoping to sneak the condenser past it but it's not looking like it'll happen.... besides, who doesnt love tasty new rad fluid?!?!?!

Deegatron please use Fast Reply or Add Reply instead of quoting the last post.

I think that a backwards MAFS has to be one of the most common causes of panic/despair amongst RD tuners.

Thanx stocker, will do in the future.

couple of update photo's for you guy's.

Oh god, someone stole our hideous spoiler... whatever shall we do?

Had to remove the bumper to get the danm ac condensor out... that thing whas a whore.....

I like my race cars......BRAZILIAN..... if ya know what i mean.... no carpet.....

Can someone please tell me if the matting on the firewall serves any other purpose other than sound deadening... is it fire retardant or something? it's just 30 lbs or so of heavy mat that could proly go.....

completely stripping HVAC... -hardcore factor... 8
wearing a mangled AC condensor as a hat.... -hardcore factor... 10

keep an eye out for our "for sale" thread to fund other parts of this project.......

Small update.....
Car is currently running 100 percent.
All electrical issues have been solved.... all of our exterior lights work.... the dash is currently not lighted because someone took all the god danm bulbs out.........
The last issue turned out to be a pair of wires in the dash that were simply twisted together causing a short.....
We've got the dash back in and have aquired a kirkley aluminum racing seat...... it came with a 86 honda prelude ice racer that we'll have to part out, but that's alright too.....
Our adaptor plate to the 70mm ford throttle body is finished and working flawlessly. that'll go in with the air ram manifold...... likely we'll wait at least till after the megasquirt for that.....
rear brake calipers are going to be an issue for us......
The e-brake linkage on both of them is frozen and needs to be redone... we can get replacements from local junkyards but the want 50 bux a pice for them.... jerks....
Imna try to rebuild em first....
in reality we need to patch the holes in the firewall, fix the rear caliper issue, clean up some wireing, mount the tires, mount the battery and install our seats and she'll be ready for a test run..... it's all very exciting...
Im starting to think we may not make it to the track this year..... : (

The cables are in great shape... it's actually the parking brake mechanism inside the caliper's that's froze up.... we checked kar bashers and they didnt have a complete set of calipers there that werent toast... then we tried jaybek and he wanted 50 bux a caliper.... twas brutal...
