i noticed a 03 elantra motor on ebay with low miles (30k). it was an automatic, which i love, better chance it wasnt abused, and it has a better chance of not being reved very high.

picked it up for $15.50. litterally, and it came with a full engine harness, clutch, flywheel, two exhaust mani's, and box's of odds and ends.

the motor was in one piece, but i was in a hurry to see whatit looked like under that valve cover. im also gonna see whats involved in possibly using the intake mani.

really, the only thing i wanted was the aluminum oil pan, but ill be swapping the head, and probably most of the sensors that are the same. my car has had ghosts for years, so swapping a few sensors might uncover them.

Remember, the rail is returnless and the injectors are smaller.

i knew the rail wasnt an option, but i thought the injectors were the same size, just a weaker style. but i hadnt planned on using either.
