Looks like the same wire I used from my ebay kit for wiring up my last car... same fuse too.

the wire is 0/1 gauge stinger, the fuse is a monster cable with a 100 amp wafer. that is the only old thing im reusing on this stereo. if anyone has been around for a looong time, i had that installed in my tiburon. at the time i was the only 0/1 gauge ran car that didnt drill to install it. it saved about $150 in wiring. but i still had to buy 24 ft of the clear, and 16 ft of the blue to run both batteries and such.

That's why I bought e-bay last time, and I will again this time when I put my subs in the Tib over christmas.

Hellz yea sucka!! I need to break my shit into the 17's. 02.gif

BTW.... That shit looks so nice in person.. the pics do absolutely no justice of that box, the scale of everything, the quallity.. I was happy with just over 150 dB's when I was into my systems... Pat knows his shit, and just wait til this shit gets SPL tested..... I wouldnt let your poochie sit in that 6.

why did you decide to port it to the front of the speakers? That causes the displacement to go right back into the cone. Usually on a pro job, they seal the front off. If it were me I'd find some way to open the ports on the side and keep the front away from the ports. Personally, I run sealed boxes because the chamber airspace required for ported is usually 25% more and sound quality suffers the same percentage with ported boxes. Ported boxes are louder though.

I had a friend who designed a box like this. He had the 12" speker box between the front seats of his truck and the baffle was on a hinge so the frequency of bandpass was adjustable.
