What # yellow top battery is that & did you install that with no modification to your battery holder?</div>
off hand, i really dont remember, i just picked up a yellow top off the shelf when i bought it.only thing i had to modify to make it fit was the battery cables a bit. the optima had them set up a bit different, so i needed about an extra 2 inch's, where it attatched to the stock air box set up, i just unclipped, and it gave me enough room to wire it in.

KOTTONMOUTH KINGS!!!! I saw em' in concert w/ Tech N9ne and Rahzel (Human beatbox) and lots others on New Year's Night! Seattle Exhibition center rules!
Kit, I'm sure he's done something to that stock airbox, he said those pics are old and he said he drag raced her.
Did your cover thing in the trunk fit with that box? You know the thing attached by strings to the trunk and lifts up with the trunk when you open it? Or did you have to take it off?
And DUDE! Please tell me where in the firewall there's room for 0 gauge?? PLEASE! I've looked! Did you go in that hole in front of the glove box, passenger-side? I don't think the one on driver-side is big enough for 0 gauge.

ok, air box, gone, first i had just a cone filter, now im running a cai off a prelude, works great, and it was free.
when the box was installed, the cover wouldnt fit, hell, when u closed the trunk, it hit the edge of the box just to give u an idea.
for the 0 gauge, its not easy, but do-able, if u unbolt the fuse block under the dash on the drivers side, u can see where the factory wires from the engine bay come in, its a huge ass gromit. it leads to the drivers side fender, take a yard stick, and guide the wire to the front of the fender, theres a hole right next to the battery that the 0 gauge will come out. took me a whole weekend of tearing crap apart to run that wire without drilling a hole.

HAHA, why not just drill...?
Well, now you have bragging rights and a story to tell I guess. I thought you had found something no one knew about on how to run 0 gauge wire through, didn't know you meant that ^^^^ you're right though, it IS do-able. Just need a free weekend.
