The holidays are fast approaching, and I hope all of you have had a great year. As we all know, this is the time of year to be with loved ones (and sometimes not so loved ones ), share a laugh or two, and exchange gifts too! But this should also be a time for those of us who are fortunate enough to have a nice holiday gifts, to remember those who have to live without. Thousands of young children almost never get to experience the holidays the way most of us have.

There are ways we can help though. StreetRacing.Org, will be holding their fifth annual Toys for Tots Charity Event, December 18th from noon til 4pm. The event will be hosted by Weapon*R at their facilities in South San Francisco. We will be collecting new in package toys to be donated. Raffle tickets will be given for each toy that is donated. We'll have plenty of prizes TBA.

There will be a live DJ providing music, food will be available from a local catering truck, and we have plenty of space for parking and showing off your ride. This will be a family event, so please, no speeding, donuts, drifting, or any illegal activity allowed. Everyone is welcome, and bringing your friends and family is encouraged. So come out, drop off a toy, and enjoy a day with friends and other enthusiast! We can all use some good karma, so I hope to see you there!

This will mark the 3rd year for our Hyundai club attending. The previous years the toy drive had been held at Aerogear (Bodykits) in Hayward, but this year it will be held at Weapon R in South San Francisco. SRO has always given us Hyundais great coverage and every year posts the event on their website.

Last year we had aprox 26 cars attend and out numbered the other car clubs! dancing.gif This year I am hoping to double that. If you would like to attend please send me an email to katcook@gmail.com

All Sacramento, Oroville, Gridley, Chico and surrounding areas will be meeting up at the Arden Fair Mall in Sacramento by 9am. From there your next stop is Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton



All Fresno, Bakersfield, Modesto and surrounding areas will be meeting up at my house in Modesto by 9am- PM me if you need the address- Next stop is Stoneridge Mall


All Vacaville, Fairfield, Concord, Napa, Hercules and surrounding areas will be meeting at Sun Vally Mall in Concord by 10am - Look for Copelands & Fresh Choice- Next stop is Stoneridge Mall


All Livermore, Manteca, Fremont, Pleasanton, Milpitas, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, San Jose & surrounding areas will be meeting at Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton by 10:15/10:30 - Next stop is Starbucks in Hayward.

I encourage all yall to go all out and donate as much as you can. Last NW Toy Drive we had more toys than would fit in the damn trucks. They had to call another truck to haul ass down to Olympia and finish loading up.
