Car Meet/drags! July22/25 Eureka, California

*ATTENTION ALL BAY AREA, SOCAL, NOR-CAL, OREGON, and WASHINGTON TIBURONS*
Here's the deal, on the 15th some NW/Oregon Tibs will be leaving for Eureka and arriving the same day. We'll relax, kick back, meet&greet some NorCal's, and hit the Samao Drag Strip the next day (the 16th).
Race all day, eat, race some more. Maybe a cruise if some local wants to show us Northwesterners around Cali.
The 17th: This IS my vacation so I plan on hittin the beach and relaxing maybe going out to dinner with all the tib owners if everyone is up for it. Just whatever.
Most will be leaving the morning of the 18th (some ealier) and that's it. Should be fun.

We also have some people coming from South California as well.
There are no more hotels with enough vacancy to give us all a group rate reservation so I am looking for cheap hotels (or motels) that are close to the center of Eureka, California and that have at least enough vacancy for a few members to be in the same hotel. We'll see.
NOTE: tiburob from the Bay Area is looking for a room-mate to split the cost of a hotel room. Are there any RdTiburon.com members that would like to cut their hotel room cost in half? Let me know.
SPREAD THE WORD! See you all there. Please post your name and the car you will be driving if you plan on attending. Let me know how long you will be staying (ex. just racing with us on Saturday? or staying the night with us until Sunday?) so I can plan accordingly...

I may be the ONE AND LONELY RD from the Northwest to attend this meet.
Actually the only RD all together, the others from Cali are all new tibs.
Do we have absolutely no members from Oregon or Washington that post regularly here?
