Steve and I are planning on coming out, more than likely in his tib since it has way fewer miles than my poor tib LOL!! im gonna request the day off on thursday when i go back to work so hopefully i get it off and if not im sure i can find someone to switch with me.

I added directions to Millersylvania State Park above.

If anyone is interested in camping the night of the cruise (Saturday) we're looking into that. We can't camp on the mountain because it would be too cold, but there are several campgrounds within easy driving distance at lower elevations.

Are there any hotels near Olympia? I am coming on the cruise and would like to drive up to O-Town Friday night, as it is 3 hour drive from my house down to O-Town! I just wanna make it to the meet and not to leave the house at 5 in the morning, and Lastly when is the meet going to start or when would you like people to start arriving at the Park? This may let me know if I really need to leave early or not!

The meet at the park is at 11. There are several places to stay in the Olympia, Tumwater and Lacey area. We can hook you up with info if you need. If you want you can pm either 187sks or myself (I'm his wife) your contact info and we can set up a meeting place and time and you could roll into the park with us.

 

I'm so sorry to say this but because of the passing of Floyd's mom we are not going to be able to make the meet. We thought we would be able to get it done but we ended up having her celebration of life/memorial on the 15th. There will be plenty of other people who are completely capable of leading you on an amazing trip. We were really looking forward to going but sometimes things just don't work out. We can get you hooked up with other people who are going to be there. Sorry!!!

 

That is completely fine, Thats most certainly a higher prioritiy in anyones book! I am sorry for the loss. Take care, be safe and Floyd and yourself have my family's blessings!
