We're going to meet at Cabela's and hang out there for a while. There is food, drinks, and restrooms inside so no time consuming BBQ this year.
After the consensus is that we're ready to take off we will cruise to Burfoot Park. It's a nice cruise route, and it will be kept safe and sane. If that drives enough people nuts we can talk about a high speed run later after the regular activities. Burfoot park has beach access along Puget Sound. We will park and walk down onto the beach and hang out for a while.
From Burfoot Park we will cruise to a place to eat. We have many options. One of the best gives us a nice cruise and puts us out at an Applebees, Skipper's, Carl's JR, and Taco Bell. Where we eat will depend on what people want. I can get us easily to a wide variety of places to eat from Taco Bell to waterfront fine dining.
Cabela's

Coming from the south:
Take I-5 exit 111. Keep to the left on the offramp.
Turn left at the signal.
Cross over I-5.
Go straight through the first roundabout.
Take the left at the next roundabout.
Take the left at the next roundabout.
That puts you in the Cabela's parking lot. Look for Hyundais.
Coming from the north:
Take I-5 exit 111. Keep to the right on the offramp. Turn right at the signal at the end of the offramp.
Go straight through the first roundabout.
Take the left at the next roundabout.

Okay everyone, it's been a long time coming but here are pics of the meet location. All pics were taken in the early afternoon.
In the morning the lighting will be good over on the west side of the parking lot in the RV parking section.

They have plenty of room, but there is always the possibility that it will not have room for us to get good unobstructed pictures.

In the afternoon lighting will be good on the east side of the lot.

The lot is huge, and we were there on a holiday weekend so it shouldn't be tough to find space to park together.

At the north end of the lot there is on-street parking that would be well lit all day and it is a good spot for pictures. There are spaces on both sides of the street, and it's a private drive so we shouldn't get hassled for parking facing the wrong way if we decide to.

The asphalt and striping is all new and looks great.

Either side is good for pics.

There is also an unopened incomplete road that we can use for pictures.

With no possible traffic we can try a lot of things photographically if people are up for it.
