Sorry dude! Passed ya while in the left lane going about 80. What is it about breaking down after the show? One of our friends blew a transmission going home last year and this year he got a screw in his tire inside the speedway. We've kinda made a game of counting the NOPI cars broken down on the way home. Anyway.
BTW, did anybody here win anything?? If no one else took pics I should be able to get some up on here in a couple of days.
By chance, was one of the RX-7's a silver one with a carbon hood?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>65 was about all we could do. The RSR NA Drift 350Z was leading us and we were not allowed to pass. Like majik said, the show was great and we all had an awesome time. You can expect a few new members joining up soon as well as some more aftermarket support!</div>

Yeah, S3 was like that, at the Ohio Speedway. But there was a huge group of Tibs that went, and the first car was following a pace car (Pontiac Grand Am). You should've did what I did...slow down to about 30-35 mph, leave enough space between you and the car in front, and once you get enough room, bring her up to 100+mph.

And what would they do if they you passed the lead car? Stop for them to catch up to you and b!tch at you? Just floor it next time. wink1.gif

damn, you guys drove all that way to enter nopi! it sounds like you really had an awsome time though. i'm very glad to hear that you're all trying to represent and support our cars. i'm very excited to hear about the outcome of this.

poor viper... but from what it sounds like, it was surely worth the effort and money!! especially giving out our name to such a huge show!

i can't wait for pics. damn those must be awsome!!! i can't wait! please do post soon.

If it was trailered it wasn't him...I know a guy with a bad 3rd gen. He has a rotary shop so he doesn't care to race it 'til it blows. I love those cars!

If noone else posts pics I can have some up in a day or so...just lemme know.

Careful, when that belt goes you can easily overheat like someone we know :cough: My battery kept my car going pretty well when mine went even with the radio cranked and the A/C blowing hard.. Sounds like a good time though and really sucks about your kit.
