Thoughts: WOW!!!! What an awesome meet. It was awesome to see 30+ Hyundai's tearing it up. SplinterCel, another blue RD1, and the SCCA tib(forgot name on here) and mine were the only ones of the RD series tibs there. There were Gks, Elantras, Accents, and a 5 door(not sure what). The track was pretty sucky, but still a fun experience none the less. Cars running low 13's were running mid-14's. The weather was kinda hot, but had a nice breeze. I also started my own Tiburon Train with two other that were lost like me, they followed which I thought was pretty cool(saved the day) lmao.gif There were alot of really nice cars there. The SCCA tib lost his clutch after the first few passes. We also raced and his car did pretty well. Just a little faster, only because his is gutted and mine was with a full interior. Will definantly be going next year. Everyone that can, should make plans to go! Its alot of fun! They are talking MAYBE about next march, for the Spring Shootout. Well worth $33!!!!

JonGTR, I was looking at the entrance all day hoping to see your car but it didnt happen. Maybe next year! Most of those tibs were spinning half way down the track anyways. But im sure you would have done better. fing02.gif

I use to run nitrous years ago and ran a 14.0 with a 60 shot and stock tires.

I had slicks in my hatch that day ready to go. sad.gif
I was thinking I could have made the last hour of the meet, but I didn't feel comfortable trusting the quick job I did fixing the rail. Now I'm thinking I should have.
I'm thinking about having a track day for south TX at San antonio Raceway. Most of the SC Tibs are from Killeen and Austin area.
