We're in the process of narrowing down the July date fot the 06 Tibathon in Chicago.

Once the poll closes on 11/30, hotel info will be collected and events will begin to be organized.

July was decided upon because that's when the last meet was, and it helps keep consistency, so people know that the Tibathon happens every summer...now people can know it's every summer in July, so they can think about making plans longer in advance.

Yeah, I know, but you know how it is.

40 folks sign up, then 10 decide to do something local with their families for the weekend of the 4th of July instead, then they don't have the money to come, then you have the usual 10% that actually show.

True, but from what I've learned from previous and other meets, that's always the case.

Even last year when we had the vote for month prior to the actual date, July won hands down.

It will be a great meet, and July is a very good month to have it - no school, initial summer vacations over with, etc.

Ya, is there a list of who's going? I'd like to know if any other people from NE going. I've been trying to decide on a little road trip for myself and this sonds like the perfect idea.

Damn, didn't know about this. I would of so shown up and brought both cars but now since the one car got jacked plans are jacked. Maybe next time.
