guess who has the hottest car! SplinterCel!!! Yeah baby, why? Because your car looked exactly like mine did before I messed with it. Thas hot man. Of all those cars I still think your car is the hottest. Good to see some representation.

That first GK looks hot though, I still don't know how he is able to see anything through the rear, but the interior and engine just make my mouth all watery.

Nice meet fellas.

That wasn't someone else, that was ME! I'm Doohickie from the XD boards. You may want to check out the link again, I just posted some more pictures. And FYI, I'm the guy in the jeans and blue sweat shirt putting the Tibby sway bar on Paki's XD (thee is a pic in DrivingTibNaked's original post).

hey mang. good to have you onsite. You gotta post a DIY on your trunk/false floor/tool box. Just looking at that almst made me regret that i wasted my space with a 12" subwoofer.

Here is what DrivingTibNaked is talking about:

I did a DIY that talked about how I went about building it on ElantraClub.com. If you just want to skim that thread (which is 5 pages long!), just scroll through until you see pictures. Then you can get a sense of how I went about it. I don't think it's a complete DIY yet because I haven't written up the plans (which I still intend to do). But if someone is interested in doing this in a Tibby, my plans would largely be useless because I'm sure the dimensions are different. The biggest adjustment I made to the design concept is that I made the central tray three inches narrower than my original 39 inch width because 36 inches is the widest thing that easily fits through the hatch opening. If you wanted to do this for a Tibby, you might bear this in mind.

The one other part of my car I kind of like is the silver galvanized mesh in the grill. It protects the radiator and condensor from stones and gives a nice visual accent to the front of the car. To see it at night I also backlit my grill.

Grill mesh:

Backlighting:

One last shot of the car, this one at DFW Airport. This is my current wallpaper:

^^^ you got the back lighting, but you missed the hood lighting. I'm going to think about putting some blue backlighting/functional white in my engine bay.

This isn't for show, it's for function, but yeah, I got that:

FYI, I posted a lot of pictures of the January meet over on DFWHyundais.com that are not shown here... many more pics than DrivingTibNaked posted, including some pics on the road. I was going to post them to the board, but I had to divide the pics into three separate posts since there were so many of them. We hope to grow it a bit each month; we more than doubled over the XD-only December meet.
