I believe there are no requirements for running these events. Meaning, no driver's school required like you have with NASA or the big clubs in AZ. ASR is an extremely safe track with no walls and lots of runoff room. It's not a very fast track either, so excellent for beginner drivers.
This will also be a low-key event with no race cars and passing is strictly enforced to certain areas of the track. That being said, this is the perfect opportunity for first timers to come out slowly work up to speed. There will be instructors on hand if needed.
This event is floating around on different forums, so expect a nice turnout. Last year there was a Time Attack in the afternoon, and there's a good chance they'll do another this year. Let me know if you have any questions.

anyone? If I go I will be bringing some friends hopefully who will also be racing. Maybe a Mazaspeed Protege and a s2000 and an Acura Integra, and MAYBE a Scion Tc and his friend w/ an Acura RSX.

Ooohhhh, sounds like it would be fun, but I can't be there mang. Marla's tib will be here by then and I've got to put all my spare time into it. I wish though.

Ok, I gave up hope when I found out it was on a Thursday but then I thought, wait a sec....who told me it was on a THURSDAY and why am I listening to him?

I dunno what crack REDZ was tokin' when he looked at some mexican calander...
This event is perfect for Phoenix/Tucson tibbies and even ABQ, it's just across the NM border on I-10 for those coming from PHX/TUCSON. And all the way down I-25 and then onto I-10West for those from ABQ.
Me and a few from the club will be attending, however I will most likely not be racing my vehicle (although it will be there).
