I have a friend in the AZ Mazda Club who drives a yellow s2k (as well as a Mazda).

There's been a growing trend of s2k theft in the Southwest.
Some f***ing asshole street racing gang known as Devious in Albuquerque torched his car.
Here's what's left

This was done in a period of hours, sometime between 2am and 6:30.

Here's a link about it on RSW.
http://racingsouthwest.com/forums/in...howtopic=41301

and 2 links to AZMazda about it (have to be a member to read).

And here's a link on AZMazda about "what can happen when you talk shit on SRT-4 forums" bullshit.

wtf is going on? this is bullshit, shit like this should not be happening.

anybody in ABQ heard of Devious?

I've been reading about some of the drama with them brandishing guns at the RSW folks and shit. It's really silly. As for the car fires, they are sure it was some of those guys now?

This is why I am so anti street racing.

yea, it's getting ridiculous. comments like "oh keep torching cars, I need some practive with my AK on moving targets" are really not neccessary on the internet (where things are known to get blown out of proportion.

I don't even know what the gay forum drama is between them but this seems like it's escalated too far. I guess it's been this way I just found out about it since someone I knew got involved.

They found the guys, bragging on the internet and at parties, and all have been arrested.

Lots of info about it over at RSW.

yep.

Theyve been arraigned. $150,000 cash or bond. Both are being charged with 3 felonies. Conspiracy to commit arson, arson, and something else. These kids are 18 and 19 and theyre goin to jail for a LONG time. 9 cars damaged. 4 totalled.

Anyone know if the 3 strikes law applies in NM? If so, does it count if all three are commited at once?

If not, what's the minimum for arson in NM?

The entire thing that lead to this is Internet Drama. Some guys saw someone else being a E-Thug, whos'a nice guy in person, and went and torched his car.
