Sounds great!! Ok, so when do you think we should plan it? Not to be pessimistic, but we are ALREADY getting snow here in Denver. Suppose to get two inches tonight. Is this something that folks want to do ASAP, or should we plan for something in the spring, say May or so? We COULD do it this year, but we will definitely have to guestimate the upcoming weather.

 

I want to go to wherever it is. I just am not sure if I could do it this month and Im already planning on being gone from work thanksgiving weekend. But you guys set it up and Ill do whatever I can to get out there for a weekend. Will likely fly out as Im not sure about driving.

Whats a general address to look up for a drive?

I'm thinkin Valentines Day weekend would be good! It'll still be cool out, minimal thinking about "what should I do for my special someone". B/w REDZ and my wif, cooking/meals wont be an issue. I can reserve the Speedway if we get enough people. I can request that the strip has a Midnight mayhem so we can also drag race on friday. I can help reserve rooms at the locals price if people dont want to stay at my house. Etc Etc. Let me know peoples.

 

Just from my point of view, I would not be able to commit to something during that time. Two reasons: I work for a school and I dont beleive I would be able to get the time off. And the other is I will be bringing the Tib obviously. If the roads are AT ALL bad, I will not risk wrecking the Tib in the winter driving conditions. I think this is something that should happen NOW, or in the late Spring/ early Summer.

I DO however support a ski/snowboard/lodge retreat that we could all fly to and/or drive to if close enough. THAT we could do in February.
