2008 Abq Bbq?

Yes, I realize it's 6 months away if it is happening. I'm just wondering if it will be occurring this year, because I'm itching to take a road trip. Figure I graduate this april, so I'll be employed and have the money. I have a friend in St. Louis and one of my best friends just moved to denver, so I could road trip out there in 2 days, crash with my friend in denver for a few, and then head south to ABQ before driving back up. So, yeah. smile.gif

Actually, February of each year is when I start posting about it, so no worries.
Yes, it will be occuring this year, last year was so much fun, and so many people showed up, my blues from the year before went away (it's actually 8 months away...).
You could stop off in Denver and meet up with Tibbytib, then convoy down, he doesn't miss the ABQBBQ for anything. IN fact, I think he's been here for each one.
I will start a thread on it later today, or this week, with initial information.

Sure thing. It's ALWAYS the first weekend of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.

That's the 3rd through the 5th of October.
I can ALWAYS use someone to stay for all 10 days of the fiesta with me, as we need extra crew for our hot air balloon. A few days last year it was just me and some crippled guy, and that's not too easy to put a balloon away with. LOL The key is, the LONGER you stay, the more likely you are to get to fly for free.
And flying, once you've done it, is one of the greatest experiences in the world.
