Ok this is the situation I started my car and the wideband is reading like of the map like 17 at idle.
When I hit the gas it goes down.
Now I was told I would be fine with no fuel management at the moment on low boost,I have lower compression motor 8.5.1.
Now I need to get a new front o2 sensor there is none in it right now but i kinda plugged it for time being.
No vacum leaks.
How come this would be happening?
How can i get it lower till i hook up the smt6 and the rest of my stuff.
It has stock injectors and fuel pump in also im only looking at like 5psi for now.

Get a front o2 sensor, your ECU doesnt really know which way to correct the fuel trim.

but the idle afr doesnt really matter anyway, the difference in fuel between 17 and 14 is so small @ idle i wouldnt worry even if it stays like that with the o2 sensor

Ok today hooked up the front o2 sensor and relocated my maf.
it idles great and its at like 13.5-13.2 on the wideband.
So I fixed that problem, now what should I be hitting on wideband under boost when driving like wot and just normal driviong?

at idle around 14.7 :1
normal driving around 14.7:1 also
light boost ,artial throttle around 14 to 12
high load high boost around 11.5 (you can go leaner for more power but 11.5 is on the safe side)

so what about my readings

at normal driving, i get 14.7, well it steadily goes up and down from 14 to 15.5 during idle, and cruising

at WOT, i have my SAFC2 adjusting to get 13.5 to 13

when I turn off the SAFC2 I get 12.2 at WOT

I definetley feel the power when the SAFC2 is correcting, but do you think 13.5 is too lean ??

remember I am still naturally aspirated. not boosted.

if you are NA then 13.5 is not to lean. even with light boost that would be ok.
