Anybody running a monster turbo like a GT45 or do most people usually use smaller ones like a T3 or disco potato for quick spool up?

I bought a 60-1 thinking I'd be lucky to hit 550hp. No one else has gone above that, and doing so requires a built trans, axles, clutch, head, etc. So really, there isn't any point in going bigger.

I think it's the perfect turbo for daily driving a 400hp car. Only thing I would change is to get a BB chra and v-band housings. Eventually, I'd like to upgrade to something like Juanra has, or the new 6262 gen2. That will have crazy lag issues though.

This is where I am stuck for now.

Going with a small turbo to start to get used to the increased power and obvious effects therein. After some time on that tune it'll be upgrade time. I have been looking at the larger GTKs for a while. The engine build reflects the goals.

Ignore the break up on the top end here, but as you can see, I was boosting by 3500rpm with the 60-1. This amount of lag actually helped on the streets for traction and economy.
