white is oil. make sure your seal on the compressor housing is not bad. mine did the same thing when i would boost.

also, how much boost and what have you done to the motor in prep for the boost.

it's your turbo.... the seal between the compressor and the exhaust is bad.... did the EXACT same thing with mine...and the smoke is actually blue....you can only tell in certain light...i've noticed a TREND in speed-factor turbo's do this(no offence tim...it's not your fault)... i returned mine...and i'm waiting on a new one

Just out of curiosity..

You guys made sure not to pressurize the crank case right?

You do have a breather filter or some kind of catch can installed right?

this is actually a common thing with turbos. t3/t4 especially. i have dealt with turbonetics, greddy, turbo xs and many others. compressor seals go out if the turbo is moved around a lot durring install, by this i mean if you loosen up the clamp to allign the intake and exhaust housings to fit your car.

most people tend to loosen all the bolts around the turbo to allign both sides. this is a common mistake. on a new turbo, you should only loosen 2 bolts to allign it so that way the seals dont move around.

you can also replace the seal yourself instead of sending back the entire turbo.
