Anyone know or heard anything recently? Did the 2 non intercooled turbos finally do in the engines? Or is the car still running some where?

Isn't it sitting in a barn somewhere, not running?

It's a shame really. The car had a lot of potential had it been done right.

I thought it was going to forever be on ebay resulting in a monthly post here saying something along the lines of "OMG I WANT THIS?!?!?!" followed by a detailed explanation as to why you don' want it. I wasn't expecting it to be in a barn

it's more like a shed actually. Yamaha bought it. took pics of how unsafe it was and sold it right away.

the front engines gas tank was mounted under the bumper cover iirc. seems legit

It was an exercise in car engineering masturbation. It felt really awesome to see it in SCC magazine, but everyone knew there was no way you could ever really drive it.
