Default Whats the highest hp turbo'd beta thats still on stock internals?

Who has the highest hp beta engine thats turbo'd and still on stock internals? Im curious to see how much a stock block thats been unopened, can handle.

400hp done by Tim from Turbo Elements, completely stock bottom end i'm prety sure. It was an elantra wagon if i remember correctly.



If you search hard enough i'm sure you'll find a thread or 2 from the RDT archives.

im pretty sure the highest recorded, that i know of was jonGTR at around 270whp documented and estimated 300 not documented.



but its all in the tuning and setup.. you could blow up a motor with 150whp and 5lbs of boost..



chris, im pretty sure Tim had pistons, but that was the ONLY mod.

yeah tim had pistons but other wise stock everywhere else. i remember him saying something that some guy from hyundai told him that the rods would hold up to 420 hp. i think he figured when he went 31 psi on the turbo he was using he calculated his HP at 436hp.

The person I saw had a Microtech LT10 and was on racing fuel (VP C-16 I believe) and a big a turbo!
