2.5" you can stick with 2.5" for a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time.. (your car will never see enough boost/power to ever need 3" for any reason)

2.25 hot side and 2.5 cold side...remember cooler air expands with density, keep the hot air velocity up on the hot side with slightly smaller pipes.

uh.... What physics did you learn that things EXPAND when they get colder? They CONTRACT when they get colder, they don't expand.

As things contract...they get MORE DENSE. So Density increases with CONTRACTION.

Please, either restate this to fit the known physics model, or go read maximum boost.

2-2.25" will flow PLENTY for 12-14psi and a 2L motor. What you should care about MORE than piping diameter, is how many bends you have in your piping between your turbo and your throttle body and you should spend more effort on how to get by with as few bends(and as gradual as they can be) as possible.

2"-2.25" piping is also lighter...and cheaper.

Or just forget my advice and run 5" chrome pipe...chicks dig it!
