What parts are needed for 300+ HP turbo setup?
sorry guys, i'm jumpin in on this a little late. i'll be using the same setup as lantraluvr is looking at, pardon the ross pistons. full CNK setup with a haltech and stage 3 KORE clutch. i was hoping to boost 9psi on a daily basis, and up it for races, so with 300whp as an absolute MAX. but since everyone seems to agree that that is a bit close or over the threshold for the stock diff, and CNK/tigerlily/other cast pistons, i'll prolly make 250 whp my mew max. Red, is there any way to make forged pistons bearable to drive daily, or am i totally screwed if i wanna up the power later and still drive it almost everyday?

Forged pistons equipped engien can be drive dayly...just let the engine reach normal operating temperature before you step on the go pedal....
the other car i drive has forged pistons in it,it'S driven 6 months a year and so far the engien hasn't been taken appart since i built it 6 years ago
with proper use they will last very long

Well, The problem with forged is. You can go ANY PLACE. You get to sit in your driveway at midnight in the a blizzard waiting 15 mins for the engine to start to warm so you can drive off.
Cast or utentic, you can just go. and it wont be as damaging.

I'd like to know how you're doing 300hp, I have yet to dyno and I have yet to click the switch to high boost at 15psi cause from the calculations of Dynamic Turbo that should take it to 300whp or higher... and the reason I have yet to try it is cause ONPOL was not doing to good differential wise at 270 whp or 290 can't remember... so do you mean 300hp at the flywheel???
I'm sorry if you misunderstood. I was wondering what would I have to do after turboing my car. I never implied that I already have 300 hp.I'd like to know how you're doing 300hp, I have yet to dyno and I have yet to click the switch to high boost at 15psi cause from the calculations of Dynamic Turbo that should take it to 300whp or higher... and the reason I have yet to try it is cause ONPOL was not doing to good differential wise at 270 whp or 290 can't remember... so do you mean 300hp at the flywheel???
Also, what do I have to to to "prep" the block up in preparation for the mad power?

With 8.5 or 9:1 pistons and good tuning on the Haltech you should be able to boost 15 PSI all day long on pump fuel. Assuming your turbo is upto it, 250-300 WHP. As long as you don't make too many abusive launches on a prepped track you should be OK with the differential.the ross pistons. full CNK setup with a haltech and stage 3 KORE clutch. i was hoping to boost 9psi on a daily basis, and up it for races, so with 300whp as an absolute MAX.
With race condition / fuel 20-25 psi should be fine.
