i was just wondering what mm/psi wastegate i should get and which bov would you reccomend? im pretty sure im going to get both from tial. also, im planning on running about 7 psi for now and then upping it in the future. thanks
check out www.importevolution.com they have great prices, no tax and free shipping. The sell the full line of tial wastgates and explain the sizing. good luck. BTW don`t get a loud bov, it will drive you crazy and attract the cops.

yes, you need a wastegate. EVERY turbo needs a wastegate. The question is, do you need an internal or an external.
Depending on size and location, internal wastegates do fine up to about 15-20 psi. Some go higher, but around that point you want to start thinking about an external wastegate.
The decision is ususally made by the time you buy a turbo and a manifold. If the manifold has no provision for an external wastegate, the you MUST use a turbo with an internal wastegate. If your turbo has no internal wastegate, then you MUST buy a manifold with an external wastegate.
BOV's are a good thing. You can get them quiet, or noisy, depending on what's your thing. If you keep the stock MAF, going with a "recirculating" BOV is a wise idea.
