Thanks to kspec, redzman, t4tiburon.
fitted all the parts, major improvement was on the acceleration, pulls a lot harder once boost comes on from 3000-4000rpm

Without looking at the improvement on the Top End Horsepower, I'm satisfied with the power acceleration that you experience driving it on the streets, but dissapointed with the Horsepower, although i've got another dyno and fuel injectors to do in a weeks time, boosting to 16psi.

The Dyno was done on a very hot day, that could have affected the Top End Power.

Parts installed
65mm throttle body from kspec
kspec airram
ported cylinder head
fidanza flywheel
turbo manifold from t4turbotiburon
apexi exhaust control valve (reduces the exhaust noise by 10db)
once fully on it pretty much cancelled the exhaust noise

Its still detuned because with the new piping and hardware modifications.
I need to upgrade the fuel injectors, its maxed out.

CAR POWER READINGS BEFORE IT WAS TURBOCHARGED, STOCK OEM
0 psi
126hp

OLD POWER READINGS, completed in October 2005
16psi
205hp

NEW POWER READINGS, after the modifications
10psi
220hp

220whp @ 10 psi sounds decent mate.

16 psi should easily put you past 250-260whp... Maybe even upto 270-280whp with good tuning fing02.gif

Is the exhaust control valve sorta like a throttle-body mounted in-line with the exhaust piping? I think I read about those somewhere... Good idea for for keeping the noise down for daily driving but does it in any way hurt top-end performance or spool-up time?

Apexi ECV, installed after the cat.

I'm not sure if it affects the power, I didn't ask for Dyno to test.

I had the engine block, pistons, rods inspected and they are in very good condition with very little wear.
With the modified parts bolted on the car, I would have thought I'd be cruising past 300HP by now.

You have 2.5 times more power over stock... since manufacturers don't use wheel hp but crank hp... you didn't make 126hp stock with a 1.8L. Unless the dynos where you live make some wierd calculation to turn the whp into crank hp.

Seems like they made a hell of a gain to me since you dropped the PSI down and still made 15 more whp... I would expect 275 at your next dyno @ 16psi.
