Update: Finally Got Unlazy, And Threw On New Snail

Hey guys.. i FINALLLY decided to get working on the tiburon again.. and i have a huge update..
well i found out a few things.. about why the old setup was FVCKED up.. well as jon once told me, my location of my air filter was ASKING for trouble.. lately, i tried starting and running the car to keep oil flowing and stuff. and moving it back and forth.. well once i got load on the engine, nothing happened, couldnt give it gas or anything.. once it warmed up, and i gave it gas, it would make a high pitched screetch from the turbo..
well i took off the intake yesterday when removing the turbo.. about 2 oz. of water came out of the intake/ compressor housing.. lmao.gif that might have been a reason it wouldnt spool up, move, etc.. and above everything, my stock o2 sensor wasnt hooked up, duno when that got un hooked.. anyway, after a long, tedius 5 hrs, i got my old DP off, my wastegate off, put on new dumptube smile.gif, and pulled out the manifold..
i never realized how small the t3super 60 was.. and the new turbo i got isnt THAT big..


anyways, i thought things were going to go smooth, but the new turbo has a lil different center section, so i need a different fitting for the oil feed line, and i need to make a new return line, because my new turbo oil pan has a 1/8 npt tap into the pan, and the old one had a huge -4 or -6 AN fitting i believe, so imma get a 1/2 stainless return line made up, to help prevent kinking a little bit..
in the corner of that pic is my new 'over the battery tray' intake so i wont be taking in anymore water, and imma eventually make a nice tray for the intake for just a little colder air.
i know you envy my rust on those shatty mild steel pipes.. 02.gif hopefully i can upgrade to some alum. piping soon cuz thats NO good, but i cant afford it right now.. they will be wrapped soon hopefully though for heat reasons..
in the next pic i mocked up my intake without the intake, ROTFL thats just where the filter will be..

right now, im waiting on my DP getting re welded (new 4 bolt exhaust flange), getting a new coupler, new return line, and i need to get my new ECU (to use the ignition harness on emanage to take out some timing for more boost, then install the decomp. plate.
and btw, just for those who care, this will be about my last and final post on rd for personal reasons and if anyone needs me for anything i can still be contacted via cell, email, and maybe IMs. ill try to get on here when i can..

shyt.. if the line is 10AN but the actual fitting to the pan is 1/8 npt will it be that big of a deal. this is the 6 qt. pre tapped pan i got from random.. forgot who built it, but it was made for turbo.. i thought the 1/8npt tap was pretty small myself cuz my old one was a -12 or -10 im not sure..

yeah i was thinking that dump was small as well. mine will be 1/2" (12.7mm i googled) I wouldn't think any smaller would be good since the fitting coming off my turbo is 1/2" npt.
edit: dang, (1/8) inch = 3.17500 millimeters, are you sure it's an 1/8 thats tiny. btw, the pan was made my extremepc from hp (he's on here occasionally, he has a post in the who's boosted thread started by dweet.)
btw, with the testicle ownage, is your fiance stopping you? just compromise and cut back a bit on computer time, thats what i did when i got married/had a little girl.
