I have a greddy turbo timer. I installed it this week but cannot seem to get the parking brake feature to work. There was only one wire the goes to the parking brake. I tapped the wire into it. I start the car and then turn it off. The car continues to run for the countdown but when I release the parking brake it does not stop. It continues to run until the countdown is done. Any ideas? I do not think the parking brake switch gives off the required 12 volts but it was the only wire. I am thinking I might have to use a relay.

hmm when i did mine on my nissan i had similiar issue , but it turns out it only works if i start the car and turn it off, if i just turn the ign on then off the timer counts down but the ebrake sdoesnt work.....

for your situation .. does the brake light illuminate on the dash when the ebrake it engaged?
