Defined Autoworks.

A little off topic but on topic in round-about way.

Everytime i try to sleep all i can think about is working on my tiburon.

thinking about questions like

What do i need to do to get this done?

What if that dosnt work how am i going to make it work?

Can i do that with out breaking it?

then my favorite witch i think about this all the time is

What would i do to the Tiburon if i had unlimited funds?!

you count sheep hah!

You shouldn't be worrying about breaking stuff. Buy yourself a $2k Honda daily driver and go balls out on the Tib.

I remember in the days of FXtreme, people thought 225 was the max HP you could run in the stock Tib motor. I didn't give a shit and kept boosting to 270whp and drove it daily for quite a while. (Ran out of injector room)

They were using too-simple piggybacks with the alpine kit though weren't they? What a disaster Alpine ended up being. 02.gif

The Unichip itself is an excellent piggy back ECU. Its one of the only ones out there that can successfully add and retard ignition timing on a Hyundai. The fault lay within Alpine's tuning ability. In short, it SUCKED. One of my goals when I worked there was the re-do of ALL the Unichip tunes. I got pretty far and was able to redo the Supercharger tune as well. I couldn't believe how crappily John Conchie had tuned it. I had picked up an extra 10whp and smoothed out all the hiccups on a 100% bonestock Kia Spectra with the Beta II engine.
