My tranny and axles are 100% stock. The clutch is a "stage 3" from Clutchmasters. at $515 its not cheap.

KORE, HVE and RPW have clutches for cheaper.

Compression is down to 9:1 via a thicker head gasket (less than ideal)

Boost is limited to 9psi currently.

Best time is 15.3 at 3000 Ft.

Hey Random, do you think my meager 200 crank HP project will require a new clutch? I'm assuming I'll need one for 200 WHP, but would like to put that off as long as possible.

thanks,
ac

ps. sorry to hijack, but I figured this was still on topic. smile.gif

You could always keep the stock clutch till you fry it...but worse case senario is that it might take out your tranny when it goes.

I'll probably risk it. I'm really easy on my clutch. I rev match on almost every shift, in fact the only time I chew the clutch is in first and reverse. Once the turbo goes on, though, I'll definitely put a new clutch at the top of the to-buy list.
